Commissioning art is the process of hiring an artist to create an artwork, based on the client’s request. It’s very common in the art world, and I will be more than happy to create a piece according to the client’s desires.

Become as clear as you can be about what you want
The size, colors, materials, subject matter, and other details of the composition matter
Think about a budget
I will request a 50:50 payment structure, requiring you to pay 50% upfront and the rest when the artwork is finished.
Copyright
Even when you purchase a piece, an artists still retain legal rights to it. I want to include an image of the artwork in my portfolio or website and even will ask to borrow the artwork for an exhibition.
Timeline
It will contain time estimates for every part of the creation process: payment schedule, deadlines for drafts and compositional previews and delivery of the artwork.
